Airport, Train, and Bus Shuttle

The University offers a shuttle service for those arriving in Syracuse and Utica, making it easy and safe to travel to the campus.

Getting to Campus

Regularly scheduled commercial flights are available from Syracuse, the nearest major airport. Hamilton’s airport, just north of campus, is used by private planes.

Amtrak service to New York City, Boston, Chicago, and other major cities is available at the Utica station.

There are bus stations in Utica, Syracuse, and Binghamton, with services including and  (check company websites for terminals in specific cities).

In addition, Megabus offers transportation to Port Authority in New York City on Fridays and Sundays.

  • Fridays 2:20 p.m.: Leaving for NYC from Colgate
  • Sundays 12:30 p.m.: Leaving for Colgate from NYC
